I haven’t got time to dig deeply into react native. But, here are some of my thoughts and future guess:
- As React gets over their licence issue, more companies and open source organisation will adopt it.
- React Native has been adopted by many big and small companies, in both Australia and Vietnam. It helps a lot if they have a web development team but no mobile development team. They don’t have to recruit and retrain people.
- The performance looks good, and it will increase over time.
- There will always a gap between react native and native platforms in new language features, AR, VR and CoreML development.
I think it is worth if you develop some web apps and then move into a mobile app with fast spped. In the future, it may get to the point where you can develop react native app right from beginning.
